Small things in 2015

It’s 2015! In the 90s, the idea of 2015 sounded so futuristic. But here we are, still driving cars, not flying spaceships, and living on Earth, not Mars.

As always, this time of year makes everyone both reflective on the past and eager to make resolutions for a better year to come. I’ve decided this year to not make too many big resolutions, but rather to make little ones. I found a Van Gogh quote that says “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together” and so that is my plan for 2015.

Feel free to download and use the following desktop wallpaper featuring that quote. And Happy 2015 to you!

Do I know it’s Christmastime at all?

Christmas has absolutely crept up on me this year! I can’t believe that it’s less than 2 weeks away. My family likes to really go all out for the holidays, but for whatever reason, I’m just not feeling it this year. Maybe too many distractions? Whatever the reason, I put on some Christmas music today and made some Christmas goodies to hopefully get more in Christmas mode. Feel free to download, use and share!

First up, holiday gift tags. Some of these tags are inspired by rejected designs or edits of some Christmas card designs I did for a client this July.

Just some fun Christmas tags to use for your holiday gifts!

Web updates and a Thanksgiving-ish wallpaper

You might notice a few differences around here at annakeith.com. I’m still finessing things a bit, but you can probably already tell that I’ve made some updates to the site and this blog section. So, I hope you like the new look and take a little peek around.

Meanwhile, I decided last week sometime that I wanted to make a fall wallpaper for my computer desktop. I wanted it to be kinda of Thanksgiving themed but not too literal… partly because I didn’t want to feel obligated to take it right down after the Thanksgiving holiday. As I was thinking about ideas I remembered this concept of finding joy in the everyday, and the idea of being joyful feels very similar to be thankful in my mind. Hence, the wallpaper below was created! Feel free to use on your desktop as well if you’d like.
